Following the announcement of the final deadline for the NIN – SIM Enrollment, we thought it wise to present a more fluid solution to linking your NIN with the SIM card Number.
The Federal Government recently announced that it would be sticking its deadline of 9th of February, 2021 for the NIN – SIM Enrollment. For more on this news, kindly follow this link: NIN – SIM Enrollment Deadline.
Fortunately, NIMC released a mobile app, both for android and IOS, for the purpose of easing the linking process of your NIN and SIM Card Number.
Go to your play store or App Store, search for MWS: MINC MobileID on google play store or NIMC – MobileID on IOS App Store. Download the mobile app and follow the installation prompt. Then link your numbers/devices via the app.

Note that the linking of NIN with SIM Card is only possible if you have duly registered for your NIN at the NIMC Enrollment Centres.
Ensure you download the app on the phone that is connected to your NIN SIM Card Number.
You would be able to view a soft copy of your NIN ID on the app, which can be presented in various Institutions.
